This app. is for people who practice instrument for classical music.
Main usage is to listen or play together with other parts for accompaniment
or ensemble while they play their instrument.
Recently many mp3 player provide tempo change. Playing with mp3 together is one of similar usages.
But this app. will be much more useful than tempo change, especially in control for each part seperately -
for example, mute a track for your own playing, or change instrument or volume for each part, or use
smart auto adjusting metronome, etc. There prepared a lot of good functions. pls. find more in the link
at the end of this introduction.
This app currently only read midi file. Midi is a standard only for how to make sound not for how to draw it.
And midi file for classical music is the case that original score has been transformed down to midi format.
So, sound from midi file is correct but generated score may not be accurate as original one. Naturally,
the purpose of this app. is not to replace existing sheet music.
However the score generated from midi is not always poor. It depends on the complexity of original score.
So, some are not enough but some are fairly correct and enough to be used as score.
So, this app is useful where sound control is more important than score reading.
(e.g. accompaniment, repeat control, volume, instrument, tempo, etc). And for this purpose, midi format is
more than enough and you can easily get midi file. Score generated is for your benefit.
Recommended usage is to use this app additionally for listening and playing together while you still use your
sheet music score. For me, using earphone on only one ear is preferd. If connected to speaker, then sound
should be loud enough. And it is better to mute your playing part (you can set it in the track option).
And pls. don't forget to take as many advantages as you can from the score. It shows you where it is playing,
what part you are controlling, also, help you get whole context of music. Also, you can generate full score or
only combination of parts you want.
You can find many midi files for classical music on the internet relatively with low price or for free.
Those classic repertoire are really available on the internet.
